Product Management Intern - Knee/Hip

Arthrex is actively searching for a Summer Intern with a passion for orthopedics to assist with our initiatives for our sports medicine knee ligament product line. The successful candidate will build relationships with key customers and internal departments to help drive new product innovation and support existing product lines. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills are essential for this position. This internship will run from May 2024 – August 2024. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

Main Objective:

To assist the Knee/HipProduct Management Team with market research, marketing collateral and the product development process. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Management team to identify solutions or product ideas to address surgical challenges for orthopedic procedures.
• Assist in product development labs working with cadaveric specimens.
• Work at the direction of Product Management to produce marketing collateral.
• Conduct surveys with field representatives.
• Analyze competitive products/threats and conduct market research.
• Develop product demo models/samples.

Education and Experience:

• Progress towards a college degree required, preferably in Business, Sales or Biology. A college junior or senior preferred. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)
• Strong presentation skills required.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
