We are seeking a Product Kanban Leader for our Consumer Technology Transformation Team to enable us to operate with full transparency, efficient flow, improved predictability, clear communication, and high collaboration with an eye on continued improvements over time.
If you have managed an enterprise level lean portfolio leveraging expert level Kanban practices and techniques with superior results, we want to hear from you! Our Consumer Technology Transformation Team enables 1000+ delivery teams with 70+ products across the Consumer Lending, Consumer Banking, Small Business Banking, Enterprise Platforms and Customer Experience Platforms to adopt agile ways of working and mature product management practices. Our services need to be timely, transparent, and easy to use!
Responsibilities:

  • Initiate regular and continuous improvement activities across the product portfolio
  • Monitor the Kanban board to ensure that work items are completed regularly, and no interruptions occur
  • Schedule and conduct regular Kanban team meetings so that the entire team is on the same page on progress
  • Focus on delivering value to the customers by controlling all work processes
  • Communicate with the work item owner if the task is getting delayed or not completed on schedule
  • Proactively identify any work disruptions before they occur and take steps to resolve them if they happen
  • Ensure the team understands Kanban principles and implements them accordingly
  • Track workflow metrics and transform the insights into actionable knowledge
  • Demonstrate a strong will to improve work processes to obtain positive organizational outcomes
  • Actively advocate for continuous improvement
  • Help to provide clear connectivity to OKRs
  • Hold team accountable to establishing and implementing according to the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
  • Work to improve customer response time and ensure the voice of the costumer is heard in the work being completed

Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of Agile Delivery Experience

Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Agile Delivery Experience
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile strategic planning in technology.
  • 2+ years of experience with large scale agile frameworks (LeSS, SAFe, Scrum@Scale)
  • 3+ years of experience as a Kanban or Service Delivery Manager experience
  • A professional Kanban certification from an accredited institution
  • Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Emotionally intelligent, engaged, responsible, organized, self-disciplined, self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Ability to identify and use empirical data to identify areas of improvement
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking skills
  • Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline preferred

Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
