Swing Education is an online staffing marketplace that connects substitute teachers with schools. Founded in 2015 by former K-12 educators and administrators, Swing makes it easier for schools and districts to find reliable, qualified substitute teachers when they need them most. The Sub Growth team at Swing Education strives to create a quality account setup experience for our substitute teacher candidates. The Product Growth Operations Coordinator, based in Texas, will contribute to the growth of the Swing Education marketplace by efficiently and accurately processing background checks for Texas substitutes. Coordinators are also expected to identify and raise problems in day to day operations and present ideas for solutions. They will support and streamline substitute teacher setup and engagement operations across Texas regions.

This is a part-time long term contract position for 10 to 15 hours per week. This role is remote, but must be based on Texas.
Accurately and efficiently review sub background checks as a part of Swing’s screening process, which will include assessing and documenting sensitive information from government websites.
Collaborate with and maintain a productive working relationship with Texas school district partners, which will include adhering to school partner processes and procedures.
Manage sub databases for Texas school district partners, ensuring all appropriate records are kept up to date.
Flag consistent problems and pain points with examples to help inform and guide product and process improvements.
Identify and escalate bugs in the sub setup process to Product and Engineering as needed.
