Job Summary:
Product Genius is responsible for delivering comprehensive product knowledge throughout the sales process. As with all positions within dealerships, this role is expected to uphold the highest ethical standards.
Essential Functions:

• Supports the Sales team in product related tasks and activities
• Provides extensive customer-oriented product experience and explains complex features based on customer's needs
• Provides transparent product information to sales team
• Improves the quality of sales process and customer satisfaction fully explains vehicle features, application, and benefits
• Maintains constant communication with the designated sales personnel at the dealership on vehicle delivery and any scheduling changes
• Arrives to scheduled appointments in a timely manner and maintains communication with clients regarding any scheduling changes
• Acquires and maintains total product knowledge on all vehicles and understands competitor's vehicle features, benefits and perhaps shortcomings
• Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, and their benefits to clients
• Achieves customer satisfaction objectives as assigned by management
• Learning manufacturers technology and responsible for explaining all features to customers at time of delivery
• Assists in administrative duties for sales department
• Attend seminars or training on new products
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid California state sales license
• Valid Driver's license and safe driving record; required to have California within 30 days
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in an automotive environment highly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening skills
• Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new software
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, product, service, or area of customer service specialization

Physical Demands:

• Regularly stands, walks, sits; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks and hears. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls; lifts up to 15 pounds
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
