Job Description

In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking a Product Enhancement Developer to help improve existing Lakeshore products so that they can better serve our customers. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to manage products through the enhancement cycle to meet the highest standards of quality and safety. In addition, you will work with Planning and Supply Chain teams to monitor timelines and inventory requirements. Applicants should have strong communication skills, a solutions-oriented mindset and keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate also has a solid understanding of cross-functional teamwork and is proficient in analyzing data and customer perspectives. 

A day in the office looks like this: 

  • Validating existing product lines with new vendors 
  • Communicating effectively to inform various levels of the organization and team members of project progress, as well as any concerns or project risks 
  • Developing professional skill sets associated with Lakeshore product development and enhancement standards 
Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Product Development 
  • Ability to analyze information and summarize key findings to make recommendations to all stakeholders (including executive leaders) 
  • Robust critical-thinking skills 
  • Knowledge of product creation and manufacturing processes related to consumer goods  
  • Strong MS Office and Excel skills  
  • Able to prioritize tasks and independently manage time to thrive in an atmosphere with multiple overlapping and shifting deadlines  
  • Strong organizational skills and team mentality

  • Salary: $64,000-$100,000 with an annual bonus of up to 10%
