Job Description:
RF-SMART is seeking a dynamic and motivated Product Engineering Intern to join our team. As a Product Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced Product Engineering team to develop and enhance our suite of mobile inventory solutions. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience with the entire software development process where you will be exposed to agile concepts while contributing to real-world projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Product Engineering team to design, develop, and test new features and enhancements for our mobile inventory solutions.
2. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by customers or internal stakeholders.
3. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
4. Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to improve our development processes and enhance product capabilities.
5. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and customer support, to deliver high-quality software solutions on schedule.
6. Document technical specifications, processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain product documentation.
Qualifications:
1. Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Strong programming skills and proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, HTML/CSS, JavaScript).
3. Knowledge of software development principles and best practices, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
4. Familiarity with web and mobile development frameworks (e.g., Angular, React Native) is a plus.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
6. Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
7. Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a passion for technology and software development.
8. Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week
