About the Role
This position reports directly to the Process Engineer and is responsible for the general and specific job duties of Decostar as described below:
Your Responsibilities
- Support the automation/continuous improvement team with projects which included and may not be limited to Allen Bradley PLC programming, Proface HMI programming, Fanuc Robot programming, etc.
- Learn Pneumatic Systems and assist maintenance team with troubleshooting mechanical systema and machinery.
- Assist with implementing Vision Systems and sensors to meet quality standards.
- Debug and improve PLC ladder logics as well as polish HMI systems.
Who we are looking for
- Strong experience with some form of programming (Metlab, Python, C3, etc.) and Mircrosoft common programs.
- Knowledge of basic programming principles is necessary (Variable/conditional statements/loops/etc.)
- Junior or senior level mechanical or automation engineering student.
- Completed Mechatronics or PLC course is preferred.
