Description: Join the SiteOne Product Data team as a Product Data Governance Analyst. This role is pivotal in supporting our data quality and governance initiatives. As a Product Data Analyst, you will collaborate with teams across Category Management, Digital E-Commerce, Marketing, and Supply Chain, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of data quality tools. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the management of SiteOne Product Data, addressing data-related issues, and participating in root cause analyses and industry benchmarking to identify areas for process and system improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing data governance processes to maintain the accuracy and integrity of product taxonomy, attributes, and data.
• Support the collection and validation of Product Data from various suppliers and sources.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to assess Product Data quality.
• Contribute to recommendations for digital asset management best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to help resolve data discrepancies.
• Conduct data analyses to identify trends within Product Data.
• Participate in Product Data collection and entry.
• Help create and maintain relevant documentation and procedures.
• Assist in preparing reports on data quality initiatives for stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement processes for Product Data management.
• Work under the guidance of senior team members to enhance skills and knowledge in Product Data management.

Requirements:

• Good organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Problem-solving skills and a focus on customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and basic knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new computer applications quickly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a data-focused role.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to data quality and governance initiatives.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and departments.
