The Opportunity

Under the work direction of the Inventory Control Manager, the Product Central Specialist verifies the accuracy of the physical product in stock against the Inventory Management System. Audits and reconciles discrepancies in Inbound and Outbound. Conducts exit audits, row counts and cycle counts of product in the warehouse. Responsible for receipt, inventory management and liquidation of merchant and vendor samples.

Your Impact

You will count physical stock at location in the warehouse due to discrepancies and established inventory row counting practices. Your role may require counts of all alternative product locations if warehouse quantity does not match system count. At location, you will verify actual quantity, SKU numbers, product, and location labeling. You will row count all locations at least once a year to verify accuracy in accordance with inventory accounting guidelines. You will provide customer service by supporting the inventory management of merchant and vendor samples by physically receiving, stowing, picking and delivering as requested.

Responsibilities may also include audits receipts, putaways, show prep, show returns inventory guidelines. You will enter stock adjustments resulting from row and cycle count discrepancies, damaged products, mis-ID's, etc., into the Inventory Management System up to established levels of authority. You will also documents all error findings on the appropriate form/log. You will complete all information required by sheet such as SKU number, system quantity, order quantity, reason for discrepancy, etc.

Other responsobilities include:

  • Pulling overstocks and kills as outlined by Inventory Manager.
  • Performing exit audits of stock leaving the warehouse area.
  • Verifying manifest quantities, descriptions, and locations match actual product.
  • Responding to stock/location questions and Warehouse Specialist problems, mixed SKU's or mis-ID's, merchant and vendor customer service.
  • Runing queries to provide data reports for IC needs.
  • Providing audit reports to Inbound and Outbound teams to drive inventory accuracy


What You Bring

Education: A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.

Experience: A minimum of three years of inventory experience or previous work in an analytical position. Prior equipment operations and/or physical inventory experience is also very helpful.
