WheelerShip is looking for a Product Catalog Specialist to join our team! This person will support the development and execution of an accurate, detailed, and optimized multi-channel e-commerce Product Catalog. The ideal candidate loves to ensure the best possible online customer experiences by creating best-in-class catalog listings that are well-written, well-researched, visually appealing, and dynamic!
This person loves to be a part of a team, but has no trouble working independently; loves details and organization; and gets excited about awesome online shopping experiences!
Responsibilities:
Product Catalog Management
  • Create & modify product listings, in cooperation with the Product Management and Purchasing teams, based on industry research from validated sources to ensure all information is 100% accurate, consistent, up-to-date, and strategic, including product descriptions, item specifications, and vehicle compatibility
  • Modify product listings in response to feedback from internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with SEO team to review and edit site content, and develop/implement strategy
  • Support content and collections curation to increase conversion and order value
  • Ensure consistency between website and marketplace listings and inventories
  • Implement branded marketplace storefront changes
Digital Merchandising
  • Support digital merchandising efforts to improve customer journey, especially as it relates to kitting, bundles, upsells, cross-sells, and related products
  • Contribute to site search/web merchandising discussions with the SEO/CRO teams and support the implementation of plans
  • Optimize website and marketplace product listings, catalog searches, and storefronts based on SEO strategy and recommendations
  • Optimize product listings and storefronts for individual marketplaces based on platform-specific best practices
Brand Stewardship
  • Support brand stewardship efforts to ensure that all catalog communication tools consistently reflect WheelerShips brand tone, voice, and values
  • Help to deliver exceptional omnichannel customer experiences across the ecommerce ecosystem which includes wheelership.com & third-party sites
  • Provide real-time feedback to development, SEO, CRO, and social teams to optimize and improve the customer journey
Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree, Associates degree, or equivalent
  • Ability to learn our Product Catalog and our industry
  • Passion for delighting customers with user-friendly, intuitive, beautiful online shopping experiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
  • Solutions-oriented and positive
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, web-based systems (including phone systems, Amazon, eBay, Google Docs, social media platforms)
  • Automotive experience a plus
  • Prior experience with Fishbowl, Magento a plus
  • Can be an in-person, hybrid, or mostly remote position
