Produce Lead

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Produce Associate to join our team. As a Produce Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our produce department. This is a vital position that requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the produce department
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming produce shipments
- Inspect produce for quality, freshness, and proper labeling
- Rotate and restock produce to ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory control
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals

- Ordering merchandise and controlling shrink

- Writing a schedule weekly for your associates that complies with business needs.

-Following up with associates on training and retention.

-This would be an entry level position that would lead to a management position based off of performance and availability.

Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory control
- Ability to load and unload heavy boxes of produce
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and freshness
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 48 per week
