We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Worker to join our team. As a Farm Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the day-to-day operations of our organic Produce Farm. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for vegetables, flowers and organic practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general farm duties such as planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, washing and packaging produce.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash barn and greenhouses
- Assist with packaging for farmer's market and wholesale distribution of produce
- Utilize hand tools for various farming tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in organic farming is preferred but not required
Skills:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficient in operating farm equipment a plus but not required
- Knowledge of hand tools for various farming tasks
