Produce -- Driver Local / Out of State

We are looking for Drivers to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products. You will operate warehouse equipment to load your own designated delivery vehicle. Qualified candidates must be always on time and able to work long hours on their feet. They are strong and deft with an ability to “pick up” on small details. We expect you to be “picky” when it comes to ensuring the quality of orders.

Local and Out of State Available

Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming pick tickets
• Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy
• Deliver orders on time
• Follows safety rules for warehouse when picking an order.
• Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks
• Wrap orders before loading on trucks
• Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
• Keep records of completed orders
• Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
• Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards
• Performs other related duties as assigned/required.

Skills

• Proven experience as order picker or other warehouse position
• Ability to drive a straight box truck
• Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment is preferred
• Able to read and write in English
• Great attention to detail
• Diligent and punctual
• Good physical strength and stamina
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred'
• Good communication/interpersonal/teamworking skills.

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• pallet jack: 1 year (Preferred)
• Warehouse: 2 years (Preferred)
• Box truck delivery: 1 year (Preferred)
• Previous experience as an order selector a definite plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 18+ years of age
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record
• Previous experience as an order selector a definite plus.
