Produce Clerk

Duties:
- Maintain the produce section by stocking, rotating, and organizing fruits and vegetables
- Ensure that all produce is fresh, properly labeled, and displayed attractively
- Assist customers with locating and selecting produce items
- Operate cash register for produce purchases
- Use a pallet jack to move and transport produce crates
- Assist with shipping and receiving of produce inventory
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the produce department

Skills:
- Cash register operation experience
- Proficiency in using a pallet jack
- Strong sales skills to promote and sell produce items
- Bilingual skills (if applicable) to assist diverse customers
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Organizational skills to maintain a well-stocked and organized produce section
- Ability to handle heavy lifting of produce crates
- Familiarity with using RF scanners for inventory management

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
