KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform special assignments and projects as required.
  • Works collaboratively with other functions including program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, finance to achieve business objectives.
  • In collaboration with department peers: drive, document, and utilize standard methodology in department work practices e.g. processes, procedures, and documentation that reduces work, streamlines the sourcing process, and improves organizational throughout and workload balance.
  • A member of cross-functional teams facilitating communication, decision making, and ensuring alignment with internal and external partners.
  • Track and communicate project status, plans, issues, timelines, action items, and budgets.
  • Develop tools and models to improve tracking and efficiency.
  • Leading and tracking of change management related to Technical Sourcing
  • Work with TSE/Sourcing Leadership to identify and address areas to improve efficiency and benchmark with industry Best Practices
  • Learn continuous improvement methodologies (i.e., PPI, 6 Sigma, and others) and help promote improvement initiatives to be used in the technical sourcing organization.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Knowledge/Experience in data analytics and developing tools/models using various tools to work with existing programs/software (i.e., Power BI). (desirable)
  • Has analytic skills and/or work with applied statistical models/engines. (desirable)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) – ability to communicate across all levels internally and externally.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Very organized with the ability to multi-task; capable of accomplishing work remotely.
  • Flexibility and understanding of business impact to address immediate priorities and still manage deadlines with longer-term projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Thrives in a dynamic work environment; has ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Attention to detail and exudes ability to be customer focused.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Engineering / scientific background
  • 0-3 years experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of MRP and ERP principles and materials management
  • High degree of independence and initiative
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-functional team
  • Ability to learn, be mentored, and improve

To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status. Unrestricted US Work Authorization. Forms of OPT and CPT are restricted work authorization and are not accepted for this role.

The estimated hourly rate for this position is between $18.00 - $25.00.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $14.75–$45.75.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
