Procurement Intern

Fresh Express is looking to hire an on-site intern to assist in the Procurement Department at our corporate office. The individual is prompt, professional, and ready to learn new things as they pertain to assignments that involves proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills for procurement projects.

Intern Duties and Responsibilities

• Fulfilling tasks and projects assigned by the Procurement Director.
• Design and run reports related to the procurement of materials following instructions and KPIs given by Supervisor.
• Learning technical terms related to Procurement of commodities
• Develop Excel databases by compiling information from different reports

Requirements

• Ability to intern a period of 3-5 months with company
• Flexible to work during office hours Monday through Friday
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel - Database functions (i.e., VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, conditionals, spreadsheet formatting)
• Must be earning college credit for internship
• Proficient in working with a computer including the Office suite
• Basic communication skills both verbal and written
• Basic administrative skills - organization and time management
• Team player who is eager to learn
• Detail oriented

Education

• Must be a Junior in college and graduating the following year completing a bachelor's or master's degree in the following majors: Business Administration, Finance or Engineering.
• College Graduate, preferred
