Title: Procurement Director, Protein and Seafood

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Procurement Leadership team as Director of Protein and Seafood Procurement.  In this role, you will manage the procurement strategy of our Protein and Seafood categories, managing a team of category managers and technical specialists to meet our targets around cost, quality, and customer offering. In this role you will have an opportunity to scale our supply network and drive innovation in our products, playing a critical role in bringing our innovative products into customer's homes. 

• Lead the Protein and Seafood categories, implementing sourcing and replenishment strategies that will:
• Own our Protein and Seafood P&L and meet budgeted goals by driving cost savings through a strategic sourcing  plan
• Develop a high performing network of suppliers that meet our sourcing benchmarks and increase network capacity 
• Drive innovation and growth by identifying product development opportunities,  supporting menu innovation, and supporting the growth of new channels and brands, and working closely with our product validation teams
• Maintain a close partnership with our replenishment teams and provide guidelines for SKU volume allocation and inventory targets
• Develop and coach a high performing team of category managers and technical specialists
• Lead your strategy team as they implement strategic sourcing negotiations and partnership planning

• 6+ years of experience in Protein Procurement and Retail/E-commerce purchasing, with relevant experience in the Food Industry
• 10+ years of experience with leading a team
• A degree in supply chain, business, engineering, other relevant area of study; or comparable work experience
• Flexibility to travel (up to 25%)
• Fluent in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
