Job Description
Summary
Responsible for providing procurement support to key functional stakeholders throughout the organization including processing of purchase orders, execution of the vendor management strategy, contract management, exception resolution and the maintenance of systems, and support sites in alignment with compliance and departmental policies. This role will provide service across the enterprise and will be key in promoting and training on standard business processes and systems. Additionally, the Procurement Buyer will support category management strategies, spend analysis and other activities in alignment with Global Procurement initiatives and business unit objectives.
Essential Functions
• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to build relationships, adhere to commodity sourcing strategies, and corporate policies to support Mallinckrodt's overall business strategy.
• Perform necessary transactional activities to support the business unit, such as requisition processing, invoice reconciliation, vendor maintenance/diligence, and spend reporting.
• Act as subject matter expert on Requisition to Pay process.
• Lead Coupa user training.
• Support corporate Coupa (and adjacent systems) update and enhancement strategies.
• Support audit requests related to requisition to PO process and vendor updates.
• Maintain contract repository.
• Support sourcing events and value reporting.
• Assure compliance to all corporate Compliance and Procurement policies.
• Knowledge of all key Procurement tools (Coupa, Ariba, JDE, SAP).
• Coordinate with the Procurement leadership, IT and operating units to identify training needs and make recommendations for functionality and business process improvements.
• Support process improvement across functions in the procure to pay space.
• Validation of suppliers / Approved Supplier List (ASL).
• Special project work as assigned.

Organizational Relationship/Scope:
Reports to the Director of Procurement Operations. Partners closely with AP, Finance, IT, and the Global Procurement Team. Manage relationships with external suppliers, service providers as necessary.
Responsible for global procurement indirect purchase order management. Direction and guidance provided through the Director of Procurement Operations. Normal guidance is given on a project basis and assistance in the identification, organization and support of the projects or initiatives.
Working Conditions:

Minimum Requirements
Education/Experience:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in Procurement Systems Technology (Coupa or Ariba) preferred or related detail-oriented transaction/order processing.
- Knowledge of SAP preferred.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge regarding Procurement source to order systems, data management, MS Excel, and deadline management.
- Must demonstrate the ability and interest to learn how to work effectively with new hardware, software, and data.
- Must be able to understand, apply, and enforce policies and procedures.
- Must have initiative and independent thinking to prioritize workload and determine how to best accomplish various tasks with limited supervision.
