Job description

Shift Hours:
Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned.

  • Load and unload inventory off racks, pallets, skids, conveyers and lifting devices.
  • Use the warehouse management systems to locate, scan, and pull inventory.
  • Document put-away and task information to assure proper tracking and inventory information is completed.
  • Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. In addition to the requirements listed below, the following are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


Qualifications

  • Less than high school education; or up to one (1) month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Beginner level of skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business manuals and instructions.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.).
  • Ability to multitask and cross train.

Experience

Preferred
  • Less than high school education; or up to one (1) month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
