Typical Day in the Life

The Business Process Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the execution of the business strategy using a diverse set of business, analytical, and critical thinking skills. The Business Process Analyst works with stakeholders from across the organization to define, document, and design business processes and requirements:

  • Understands organizational needs and goals, and ensures alignment with strategic direction.
  • Establishes relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Facilitates workshops with stakeholders to elicit business and process requirements.
  • Conducts consultative stakeholder interviews to gain knowledge on business needs and environment.
  • Participates in the analysis and review of current processes and systems to determine effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Creates process documentation and workflows to support the process review and recommendations.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders on redesigning current processes.
  • Analyzes process flows and business requirements to determine alignment with strategic plan.
  • Translates business requirements for internal stakeholders, vendors, and technical resources.
  • Effectively communicate business needs, requirements, and process recommendations.
  •  Ensures business requirements are met throughout project implementation.
  • Encourages stakeholders to think differently and put the client at the forefront of our processes.
  • Provide recommendation on process re-engineering to support efficiency and automation.
  • Gather data and performance metrics to assess effectiveness of processes.
  • Performs change management during process change testing and implementation.
  • Monitors, measures, and provides feedback on process performance.
  • Communicates processes and improvements to stakeholders.
  • Continues to learn process improvement best practice, consistently uses tools and defined procedures, and participates in the development of new methods and approaches.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of business process analysis and/or consulting experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking capabilities to evaluate and interpret data, recognize patterns, and extract valuable insights from processes and information.
  • Capacity to see a situation from different viewpoints, anticipate reactions, and understand stakeholder motivations.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret information, actions, or events within their specific context or circumstances.
  • Skilled in presenting compelling arguments, supported by data and evidence, to gain buy-in and support for proposed initiatives.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in adjusting negotiation and persuasion approaches based on evolving circumstances.
  • Ability to rethink, redefine, and reshape the way ideas, problems, or situations are perceived.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to work independently in a team-oriented & collaborative environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
  • Independent, adaptable, flexible, organized and able to multi-task.
  • Comfortable interacting with various levels of management within the organization.
  • Positive client centric attitude.
  • Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency working with process mapping software.

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

 

Benefits and Compensation

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.  

 

Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000

 

Beyond base salary, Eide Bailly provides benefits such as: generous paid time off, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) profit sharing, life and disability insurance, lifestyle spending account, certification incentives, education assistance, and a referral program.
