- Lead the development and execution of the overall commissioning and startup plan for the Gulf Coast Lithium Refinery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient implementation of the plan.
- Identify potential risks and challenges and develop mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth startup process.
Team Building and Leadership:
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of process engineers and chemical engineering experts.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to maximize their potential and enhance their professional growth.
Process Improvement and Optimization:
- Identify, design, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, productivity, and sustainability of the Gulf Coast Lithium Refinery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement optimization opportunities throughout the refining process.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Strategic Site Planning:
- Contribute to strategic planning efforts by providing technical expertise and insights related to process design and chemical engineering.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align Process Technology initiatives with the overall site goals and objectives.
- Ensure the integration of Process Technology considerations into the site's long-term development plans.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record in Process Technology, chemical engineering, and process improvement.
- Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, technologies, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on fostering collaboration and driving results.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
