Linde Gas & Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Process Technician III to join our team located in RTP, NC.
Responsibilities
• Safe Operation of the Diborane purification process
• Ensure quality; maintain highest purity standards for the captured material.
• Diligent and Accurate record keeping and inventory control.
• Knowledgeable handling of pure B2H6 cylinders during and after processing.
• Proper handling/management of residual mix cylinders containing higher boranes.
• Help manage inbound and outbound logistics of purified and residual materials.
• Detailed verbal and written communication to local and senior stakeholders
• Owner of B2H6 Purification Process
o Manage incoming and outbound material.
o Ensure all safety and quality requirements are met.
o Assist with B2H6 inventory management.
o Manage safe abatement of residual materials.
o Train backup operators
o Assist with process corrective and preventative maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of 3 years of Hydride, Flammable or similar gas handling experience
- Proven mechanical aptitude, including reading P&IDs
- Experience with Liquid N2 handling or other cryogenic materials
- Ability to perform basic Algebra and unit conversions.
- Fit to perform duties where respirators are required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to compile and present electronic data.
