Process Safety Management Coordinator

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Ensure compliance at all locations with all federal/state regulations regarding Process Safety Management and risk management for ammonia/CO2/Freon industrial refrigeration.
• Assist facilities with Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management (RMP) programs including recommendations closure.
• Conduct annual internal PSM inspections/audits at all facilities.
• Conduct 5-year mechanical integrity inspections.
• Create/update preventive maintenance procedures and attachments including expansions/new facilities.
• Create/update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for expansions/new facilities and provide support to train operators on these SOP’s.
• 3yr SOP Refresher Training.
• Support Process Hazard Analysis and design improvements.
• Participate in PSM audits.
• General day to day support to facilities on PSM and RMP tasks.
• Maintains updated company-wide P&IDs including making corrections or additions in CAD.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Extensive PSM/RMP and/or ammonia refrigeration experience.
• Technical writing.
• Analysis and development of design concepts.
• Strong verbal/written communications skills, computer, and organization skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Initiative/self-starter.
• Analytical skills.
• Highly motivated.

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• In-depth knowledge of OSHA PSM regulations and EPA regulations on Risk Management Programs.
• Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) skills/ training.

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Travel – Will travel to all Dot Foods Distribution Centers for training, audits, inspections, and for conferences. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
