The Process Safety Engineer is Responsible for supportingtechnical work in a wide range of EHS disciplines throughout design, commissioning,and operational phases of complex systems. He or She will serve as disciplinelead for the EHS Engineering team, interacting with many multi-disciplinaryteams (technology development, manufacturing engineering, factory design,facility engineering, etc.) and ensure regulatory compliance can be met in newequipment, processes, facilities, and design changes.
The Process Safety Engineer must work on company expansionprojects, self-initiated projects and those driven by concerns and issuesreported by employees and stakeholders. The ideal candidate takes pride inhis/her analytical abilities to apply principles of Process Safety in designand manufacturing, knowledge of regulations, organization skills, attention todetail and ability to solve problems quickly and creatively.
Work Schedule: Must be on site 40 hours a week, Monday throughFriday. Hours will typically be 8am-5pm but ability to accommodate scheduleadjustments will be periodically required.
