Position Role Type:

Onsite

Performs functions directly related to chemical processing. May use hazardous chemicals to transform them into propellants or use processing in the manufacture of aircraft parts and/or components. Duties could include aqueous cleaning, chemical etching, chromate conversion coating, passivation and / or abrasive blasting.

Shift Information: 3 on - 3 off schedule, 6am - 6pm, rotating day/night shift every 4 months

Responsible for:

  • Set up and operation of robotic and automated equipment

  • Loading and unloading of small furnaces

  • Scanning parts with handheld scanners

  • Makes precise measurements using standard measuring instruments and scales

  • Ability to recognize problems with any process equipment; notifies chain of command when tolerance limits are approached to avoid making defective parts

  • Communicate potential mechanical or safety issues

  • Strictly follows written procedures to maintain safety and to ensure quality

  • Ability to read drawings and operate per manufacturing procedures

  • Knowledgeable of all pertinent customer and company specifications including but not limited to international standards relating to finishes, special processes, policies

  • Documents the process used to create / finish parts

  • Basic to intermediate computer skills may be required

Basic Qualifications

  • HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
