Description: Position Responsibilities Conduct work activities in a manner that protects the safety and health of employees, visitors and the environment as established by company policies and procedures. Operate all assigned effluent/waste processes according to standard operating procedures and notify senior personnel of any deviations Understand assigned area risks. (Safety, Environmental, Operational) Coordinate area activities with other shift personnel and to maintain throughput and ensure compliance standards are maintained (Water Sampling, Testing Process, Blending water discharge, allowable levels of Zinc, ACM, and MEK). Maintain equipment and restock supplies/raw materials as necessary for the assigned process area Perform required scheduled Environmental testing of plant effluent Process waste material according to site wide procedures and actively pursue waste minimization within assigned process area Coordinate waste matters with EHS (waste pad, waste transfer, labels, scheduling waste pick-up, inventory, performing weekly and monthly RCRA inspections etc.) Additional tasks include: Ensure all site waste (solid, non-hazardous & hazardous) is managed in accordance with EPA and DOT regulations. Oversee the following operations regarding waste: Sampling, inspections, labeling and loading trucks for transportation Ensuring waste manifests are accurate and signed for shipment Assisting in scheduling waste loads for transport and treatment Maintaining waste inventory in a data base, ensure it is correct by conducting frequent audits Complete all training requirements for assigned area(s), and train on new processes or tasks as required (DOT, RCRA, Stormwater SWPPP, SPCC, Waste ,etc.). Be able to perform walking, bending, and continuous climbing of stairs Operate a forklift and cleaning equipment (medium pressure washer) as part of daily activity Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal direct supervision to meet daily goals. properly disposition and understanding the waste process to handle generation as regulated. Education High School diploma, proficient in math, written and spoken English Experience Minimum of two years’ experience working in a process related manufacturing plant, is preferred, but not mandated. Education:

Able to follow standard operating procedure to ensure requirements are maintained at designated standards.
