Position Overview:
This position is within the COE (Center of Excellence) and will focus primarily on order fulfillment in a customized configure-to-order environment. The role will include the development of processes and controls around order management, ATP (Available-to-Promise logic) and S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution).
As the Process Lead, you will be responsible for optimizing the backlog management process (entire order book), working on manufacturing and fabrication fulfillment processes and improving the customer experience. This role is responsible for the development of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), the collection of specifications for system enhancements and driving standards and best practices. The scope of this role is from the handoff from Customer Service through Shipping. Additionally, this position will visit sites and individuals to conduct audits of SOPs and newly developed processes. The position is critical to ensuring sustainability across sites and personnel changes.
What you'll do
- Design supply chain order fulfillment roles & responsibilities in collaboration with key stakeholders in a matrix organization
- Define and develop standard processes and best practices
- Develop, document, and maintain process templates, (QRG) Quick Reference Guides, and training material
- Develop SOPs for key functions
- SAP ATP – Logic, rules, managing exceptions
- S&OE – Process used to comply to monthly S&OP plans
- Backlog management as it pertains to Supply Planners & Shop Floor Scheduling
- Be a critical link in the development of finite scheduling tools
- Manage project plans for key initiatives (people, process & systems)
- Audit processes and develop actions to improve (people, process & systems)
- Use common CI tools to improve the supply chain (RACIs, VSM, process flows charts, etc.)
- Will drive accountability of key metrics related to fulfillment (lead time to customer, on time delivery, in stock %)
- You will work directly with Customer Service, Supply Chain Planning and Production Scheduling
Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Experience in supply chain planning, order management and fulfillment (5+ years preferred)
- Strong understanding of available to promise, ERP and order fulfillment systems
- Project management skills
- Capable of breaking down complicated processes and developing training and SOPs
- Capable of process mapping
- Are customer service oriented
