ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Leveraging experience across 5 appetizer plants, identify and develop technical capabilities for implementing, monitoring, and encouraging effective use of equipment best practices
• Developing and implementing unique processing systems to optimize the manufacturing of appetizer products
• Process optimization using statistical analysis software to process data
• Defining processing parameters that require historical data management for McCain products
• Developing plant automation standards, through writing equipment control narratives and defining HMI screens
• Working in conjunction with vendor partners to develop proprietary processing equipment utilizing robotics for appetizer manufacturing

QUALIFICATIONS

In order to perform the above-mentioned tasks, the following skills and experience are required:

• Strong technical aptitude, mechanical/electrical engineering, and/or plant automation
• Ability to understand process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and process narratives
• Knowledge of appetizer processing equipment, processing methods, manufacturing philosophies and basic manufacturing SOPs
• Experience with OSI PI, JMP, FactoryTalk
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering or related field and at least two (2) years of experience in a Food Manufacturing occupation or similar.
• Travel required: 20-50% in North America

Base Salary Range for this role is $60,466.00-$132,000.00 per year.
