Overview:

We are currently seeking a Scheduler to join our team. The Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and managing schedules in an ambultory setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical administrative support, be familiar with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations, and have proficiency in scheduling software such as AdvantX and Epic. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and schedule appointments for patients, ensuring efficient use of time slots

- Manage and maintain the appointment calendar, making adjustments as needed

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate scheduling of procedures

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments and insurance

- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary

- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

- Assist with other administrative tasks such as verification of benefits

Skills:

- Previous experience in a medical setting or ASC preferred

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Familiarity with scheduling software such as Advantix and/or Epic

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.57 - $21.00 per hour
