Job Description

Pro Shop/Cart Attendant – Part-Time

Performs responsible semiskilled work in the maintenance of the municipal golf course; does related work as required. Work is performed under regular supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains operation of golf carts and golf course facilities.
• Perform necessary task for upkeep of golf carts; service clean and wash carts;
• Maintenance and cleaning of grounds of golf course, club house and restrooms;
• Maintenance and upkeep of golf course range;
• Performs related tasks as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Education and Experience:

Graduation from high school or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• General knowledge of the methods, materials and practices used in a golf pro shop;
• General knowledge of the equipment used in the maintenance of a golf course and its safe operation;
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, course guests and the general public;
• Skill in the operation of golf course maintenance equipment.

Special Requirements:

Possession of an appropriate driver’s license valid in the State of Florida.
