Wild Laurel is a privately-owned golf course nestled in the Smoky Mountains. We’re looking for a golf-enthusiastic individual who can provide a memorable experience greeting and taking care of our golfers and guests in the Pro Shop. Attendants are the first impression for Wild Laurel guests and as such, they are expected to uphold our highest standards of hospitality by being attentive, professional and efficient at all times.

Responsibilities (shall include but not be limited to)

• Provide outstanding customer service to all guests, always providing a positive patron experience
• Maintain friendly demeanor at all times
• Answering the phone, making sales and booking tee times
• Assist with larger groups and tournaments
• Opening and Closing of Pro Shop each day including reconciling drawer and preparing receipts for daily deposit
• Stocking and upkeep of various inventory points, following inventory control procedures
• Routinely cleans and maintains Pro Shop area
• Carries out specific tasks as assigned by management
• Must have good organizational and disciplined skills

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and receive instruction in English
• Works cooperatively with others in a team environment
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Approachable and warm demeanor that is detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Must have excellent verbal and communication skills
• Regular and consistent attendance is required

Experience/Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years related experience in similar industry and dealing with the general public
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word preferred
• GolfNow software experience a plus

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to safely operate a golf cart

Work Environment

• Fast paced golf Pro Shop
• 100 acres of Wild Laurel property

Work Schedule

• Part Time position
• Flexible days and hours including: evenings, weekends and holidays

Must comply with all company policies and procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
