Form of workAre you an experienced Surgical Technologist looking for a new & exciting PRN opportunity? If so, Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC, has the perfect opportunity for you!
As a PRNSurgical Technologist II, you possess advanced knowledge of surgical techniques and are able to anticipate the required instrumentation for each step of a surgical procedure. You will serve as a resource person for specialty cases and demonstrate working knowledge of specialty equipment. Experienced Surgical Technologists will also serve as a primary preceptor for new grad Surg Techs and other staff, helping to orient them into the scrub role in the operating room.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Associate degree in Allied Health or equivalent combination of education and clinical experience preferred.
- Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
- Certification in specialty as Surgical Technologist required.
- Current CPR Certification required.
Shift: Day Shift - PRN Start: 6:45am (varies) End: 3:15 pm (varies) Call and weekends may be required depending on staffing vacancies and vacations.
