Job Description
Summary
Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Nursing LTC, or designee, provide nursing care in a Long Term Care setting. Responsibilities include collection of data, administration of medications and treatments, and documentation of care provided. Responsible for providing guidance to Certified Nurses Assistants and Certified Medication Technicians in the care of the LTC residents. Perform duties within the scope of the Missouri State Board of Nurse Practice Act.
Minimum Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Licensed as a practical nurse in the State of Missouri.
• Experience working in a Long Term Care facility or an equivalent environment where clinical care is provided to patients
• Certified BCLS.

Preferred Qualifications

• State approved certification in IV Therapy.
