The Registered Nurse, IR RN will work within our Interventional Radiology/Imaging Services Dept.
As an Interventional Radiology RN, you will assist the physician in caring for the patient with conscious sedation and monitoring of patients undergoing interventional/Imaging procedures. Procedures performed in Interventional Radiology include a wide array of interesting procedures including Angiograms, infusion port placement, thoracentesis, paracentesis, control of GI hemorrhage, biopsies, various drains, stroke treatment and care of patients with traumatic injuries.
Hours:
  • PRN
  • 7am - 5:30p, Mon. - Fri. shifts available

Requirements:
  • Registered nurse licensed in the District of Columbia
  • Current CPR certification is mandatory
  • ACLS preferred
  • Minimum of 2yrs critical care experience
