Private Security - Armed Guard

Job Location: Bronx, NY- Private School 

Job Summary: 

As an Armed Guard at our security service, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their property. You will be required to enforce security measures, detect and prevent criminal activities, and respond to potential threats. You will work closely with our team of security professionals to create a secure and comfortable environment for our clients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Patrol and monitor assigned areas to detect and prevent criminal activities 
• Enforce security measures and protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment 
• Respond to potential threats or security breaches 

• Operate security equipment 
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas 
• Write reports documenting incidents and activities during shifts 
• Work closely with other security professionals to coordinate security efforts 

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Must possess a valid state-issued firearms license 
• Must have a valid driver's license 
• Must possess an Armed Security Guard License 
• Must be a legal resident of the United States and be able to provide proof of citizenship or legal residency 

• Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check 
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet 
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure 

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods 
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds 
• Must have excellent vision and hearing 
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
