Traveling Piano Teacher
Key Lessons123 is a strong independent business looking for an excellent Piano Teacher to join our company. We are looking for someone who loves teaching both kids and adults, and is enthusiastic about what they do. This is a traveling position where you will be teaching Private Piano students in their home. Students can range from complete beginners to advanced. We start with children as young as 4 years old so being patient, loving, and creative is a must! This is a self employment position underneath our company. We will find all prospective students for you, make a route for you that works on a schedule based on your preference and days you are able to teach, and you will get paid weekly. Currently we are looking to hire someone who can work part time 3-4 days a week Monday-Friday. Most teaching hours will be form 3PM-9PM when children are out of school; however if there is a high demand for adults or children that are homeschooled you may be starting at 1PM working until the late evening instead.
Responsibilities
- Be willing to travel to students homes to teach private 1 on 1 piano lessons
- Provide individualized instruction to each student based on age and experience
- Must be patient, loving, and enthusiastic when teaching
- Must be able to work after school hours and into the evening
- Able to drive up to 30 minutes away from home location to teach private students
Skills
- Thorough knowledge of piano playing and ability
- 2+ years of teaching experience or 15+ years of playing/performing piano without teaching experience
