Private Nanny

Wonderful family of 5 with one friendly dog close to Denver Tech Center area (DTC) looking for an experienced, PROFESSIONAL Private Nanny to assist with their newborn, 9-year-old and 8-year-old children.

Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm with flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, plus possible travel with the family.

Pay (Gross): $30-$35/hour

About the Job

Initial focus and time will be spent one-on-one with the newborn. Additional duties and tasks will be dependent upon day-to-day happenings, family and school schedule, and the newborn’s developmental needs. Over time, position will flex and adjust on where the focus is with the children. Nanny will provide much needed assistance for the parents during the daytime with the newborn’s health, safety, and happiness while allowing the mother time to rest and care for other things around the home.

All standard nanny/childcare duties including, but not limited to, bottle prep, feeding, diaper changing, dressing, putting down for naps, bathing, washing bottles, helping baby meet developmental milestones, playing with the children, being creative and engaging with the children with time outdoors, light housekeeping duties, assisting with laundry, maintaining organization in children’s bedrooms and spaces throughout the home, guiding the children in picking up after themselves, assist with drop off and pick up from school, taking children to engaging and fun places to play or learn, being responsible with the family dog in the home, cooking for children, assisting the parents with day-specific needs, running errands, helping with homework, reading with the children, engaging them one-on-one, being proactive with tasks, wisely using time, communicating with parents re: the children needs and supporting their parenting approach, and displaying a good attitude while rolling with the punches in a home filled with children.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education

• Minimum 10 years’ Private Nanny experience, with a minimum 5 years’ experience specific to newborn care.
• Standard CPR and infant CPR certification.
• Strong nurturing skills, proactive “go getter” drive, unfailing patience, and calm demeanor.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to foster a safe, engaging environment for the children.
• Proven integrity, excellent communication skills, and collaborative approach.
• Adept at “stepping in” and “stepping out” appropriately without being directed.
• Organized, neat, composed, trustworthy, honest, and willing to be at their best at work.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Safe and responsible driver willing and capable of driving family vehicles (e.g., dropping off/ picking up the children or running errands for the family).
• Swim safety and current first-aid training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
