SalaryWe are looking for a responsible individual or couple to live in a lovely Brookfield apartment rent and utilities free. The apartment has a great room with fireplace, one bedroom and bath, and a screened porch. You would have direct access to a spacious backyard. Pets are welcome! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You would also have a garage, ample basement storage space and access to laundry. The apartment is attached to a four bedroom house. Two adult women with disabilities live in the main house. Care giving responsibilities in exchange for the free rent are very limited as we have hired care givers for hours when the women are awake. The women sleep well at night. You would need to cover 4 nights a week-Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 p.m.- 6:30 am when you could be awakened rarely to briefly tend to the needs of one or both women. The women are at their day programs each weekday from 8:30-3pm and are also away from the house every Wednesday. During those times the entire house is available for your use .The basement of the main house is also available to you for a work-out room or home office. ```Duties:```
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of basic nursing care and medication administration is a plus
- Must be reliable, compassionate, and patient
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
