Job Description
A financial services company, based out of NY’s Nassau County, with a satellite branch in South Florida, that is committed to providing their clients with superior financial solutions and have built their reputation on innovation and dynamism is seeking a skilled and experienced Private Investigator who will be responsible for conducting investigations and gathering information for the company regarding Asset Searching and collections for the pre-litigation phase. In this position, you will be expected to use various surveillance techniques, asset research, and analyze data to provide accurate and detailed reports. You will also be required to maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards.
Responsibilities:- Conduct a “deep-dive” surveillance of individuals or locations to gather evidence for company’s collections department
- Perform background checks and research on individuals or businesses
- Analyze and interpret information and data to draw conclusions and make recommendations to company
- Ability to enforce judgement or the “know-how” to enforce it.
- Prepare reports and other documentation to present findings to the collections and legal department
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and legal professionals as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of work
- Other duties as assigned
- Must have a valid Private Investigator license
- 3-5 years of prior experience in law enforcement or investigative work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to gather and analyze information from various sources
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, law enforcement or related field
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using investigative tools and techniques
- Ability to write clear and concise reports
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed
Salary: 175K-200K + Commission
