Private Housekeeper

A loving, busy + professional family in Middleton, WI seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeper to join their household and contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of their home.

The family places a strong emphasis on the use of non-toxic/organic cleaning products for a healthier living environment. They are looking for someone who will share in this commitment and add warmth to their home.

Responsibilities:

Regular Cleaning:

• Maintain the cleanliness of all living spaces, including the kitchen, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Dusting surfaces, vacuuming, and sweeping to ensure a tidy and welcoming home.
• Dishwashing and keeping kitchen appliances in top condition.

Tidying:

• Ensure toys and household items are consistently organized and returned to their designated places.
• Assist in maintaining an orderly and clutter-free living environment.

Laundry:

• Regular laundry duties, including washing, folding, and putting away clothes.
• Manage weekly projects such as sheets and towels laundry.

Weekly Projects:

• Perform deeper cleaning tasks on a weekly basis, such as fridge cleanouts, pantry organization and clearing drawers.

Scheduling and Reception:

• Coordinate and schedule deliveries, repairmen, and other household services.
• Act as the point of contact for incoming deliveries and service personnel.

Errands:

• Assist with occasional errands as needed, such as grocery shopping or picking up household supplies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a housekeeper with a focus on regular cleaning and whole house organization.
• Familiarity with non-toxic/organic cleaning products or willingness to use them
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage time efficiently
• Excellent communication skills for scheduling and receiving deliveries.
• Flexibility to handle occasional errands.

Schedule: 20-25 hours/week Flexible; Ideally done by 3pm

Compensation + Benefits: Competitive and commensurate with experience

Start date: Flexible: March/April

***Option for full-time hours if interested in expanding role to include personal chef duties such as grocery shopping, meal-planning, cooking of all meals, children lunches, snacks, and smoothies.
