Job Summary:Private Preschool Aid:
We are looking for a warm, loving, compassionate and mature individual to be a Private Aid for a 4-year-old boy in a small preschool environment to help foster positive self-esteem through respectful interactions with children and staff. This little boy is extremely shy who has shown signs of feeling overwhelmed in a larger group setting. This position will be to help assist him and work with him one on one, in his preschool environment, to help give him the confidence to speak up to both other children and his teachers as well as assist him with fine motor skills. Any experience in tutoring, or working with special needs is valuable and appreciated.
Pay: $20-25 per hour (Depending on experience)
Schedule:
- 10am-11:30am (Open to some flexibility from 9am-1pm)
- Monday to Friday (Open to a few days a week)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Aid Preschool to join our team. As a Private Aid Preschool, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to apreschool-aged child. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being, and development of the child under your care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating a safe and nurturing environment for preschool-aged children
- Provide support to the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtime, naptime, and bathroom breaks
- Supervise children during playtime and outdoor activities
- Foster positive social interactions among children
- Observe and document children's progress and behavior
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education certification preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is highly desirable
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
