Prior Authorization Representative

We are a Busy Ophthalmology/Optometry practice who has been in the valley for 40 years. We are patient centered and strive to provide excellence in service and care. We are looking for a Prior Authorization Representative who is responsible for obtaining Prior Authorizations for surgical patients, communicating with surgical patients about their benefits, and collecting payment over the phone. Communication and follow up with insurance companies and the surgical center will be part of the daily responsibilities as well. This position will also be responsible for compiling paperwork and orders for surgical patients. The ideal candidate should demonstrate sensitivity to patient’s needs and requirements.
