KPG has partnered with a Thriving Company in Santa Ana, CA. We are seeking an experienced Printing Press Technician to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining Printing Presses, with expertise in troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance. The Printing Press Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our printing operations.
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $25.00 - $36.00
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Printing Presses, including but not limited to digital Printing Presses, color copiers, large format printers, and reprographics machinery.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with printing machinery, addressing mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems promptly.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet printing deadlines and quality standards.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on the operation and maintenance of printing equipment.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of printed materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in Printing Press operations.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new printing equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Printing Press Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of various Printing Presses, including digital presses, color copiers, and large-format printers.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures for printing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Training or certification in Printing Press operations is a plus.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Printing Press Technician.
Skills:
- Proficient in operating and maintaining Printing Presses.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of printing materials and processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
