JOB SUMMARY
As a Printing Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Flexo & Digital label printing machines and equipment to produce labels
according to job specifications. This includes loading materials, plates, dies, adjusting settings, monitoring the printing process, ensuring the quality of the final product,
rewinding, and packaging orders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate printing equipment efficiently to produce labels according to job orders.
• Monitor the printing process to ensure the quality and accuracy of labels.
• Conduct regular quality checks to verify color, alignment, and overall print quality.
• Identify and address issues that may arise during the printing process, such as equipment malfunctions or print quality issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment.
• Coordinate with managers and other team members to understand job requirements.
• Ensure that labels are produced promptly to meet production schedules.
• Manage inventory of label stock, inks, and other printing supplies.
• Replenish materials as needed and keep accurate records of inventory.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating printing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2 years of previous experience as a Flexo Label Printer Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
• Vocational/technical school training and Adobe Suite programs (AI, PS, ID etc.) experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with label printing equipment and processes.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be over 21 years of age.
