Job Overview:
The Printing Press Operator is responsible for operating a Printing Press, from start-up to product completion. The Printing Press Operator will perform minor maintenance on machines such as greasing, mandrel changes, and roller pressures. The Printing Press Operator will proactively work to identify solutions to minimize downtime, reduce maintenance costs, and reduce the reoccurrence of problems.

Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of machines, mechanical principles, and their designs.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills.
- Ink mixing, plate mounting and support experience preferred.
FLSA Working conditions:
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, pushing, pulling, and handling various materials.
- Interaction with staff and customers.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Proficiently set up, adjust, and operate flexographic press.
- Operate wrappers, and packaging machines.
- Replace raw tissue stock.
- Read and review job order and understand processes required for production.
- Evaluate finished material on press, making necessary adjustments to color and/or press when needed to meet quality standards.
- Ensures compliance with PCHI Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
