Print Warehouse Support (Entry Level)

TEKsystems Government Support Services Team is seeking a contract employee to perform the following duties. We are seeking a highly dependable, flexible, trainable, and trustworthy individual with a strong work ethic who appreciates the opportunity to begin a long career.

Hiring 3 members for a full time, long term opportunity.  

100% onsite in Frankfort, KY

Shift: Someone with comfortable working first, second or third shift

** The position will begin on first shift, after training they can move to any shift based off of business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Printing agency reports and reviewing print quality
• Use Xerox Production Printers

1. Use of BARR Print Spool Software
   1. Monitor hardware for functionality
   2. Monitor print quality
   3. Lift output and supplies weighing in excess of 50 pounds
   4. Box, band, staple, and deliver output according user requirements
   5. Drive a full-size delivery van
   6. Any other duty as required by business needs

• Perform routine equipment maintenance
• Clean work area
• Work with upper level support staff, Prod Specialist I, II, III, Production Coordinators, and Printing Operations Administrators
  • Assist with troubleshooting of hardware, software, processes, and production jobs
    • Learn troubleshooting techniques
    • Assist in cross-training other staff
• Work a flexible schedule totaling 40 Hours
  • Interested Candidates must be flexible to work any of our five shifts.

Skill Sets / Abilities

1.      High School Education

2.      Ability to regularly lift and move boxes weighing in excess of fifty pounds.

3.      Driver’s license and comfortable regarding driving a large van for deliveries.

4.      Customer service experience.

5.      Aptitude in computer science.

6.      Self-motivated and willing to learn.

Note: All print operators are required to complete printer training and become certified. This can be completed after being hired.
