Print Production Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Graphics Production Specialist uses knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets. This position generates and manipulates images and text into seamless graphics and signage from concept to final product completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fabricate digitally printed and vinyl graphics
• Prepare layouts and designs of the graphics
• Handle out-sourcing of specialty jobs
• Duties include the installation and application of signs and graphics
• Maintain graphic files and records
• Provide inventory control for department
• Perform general maintenance of graphic printers and equipment
• Research new equipment and materials as directed by management
• Provide direction to show site installation crews
• Contact clients upon request for clarity to ensure superior quality service
• Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision
• Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in our organization

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a graphics production environment
• Must be able to work off premises when required
• Minimal travel required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.14 - $28.25 per hour
