The Marketing Specialist will work with and support our Directors and Operations teams to increase brand awareness by creating media campaigns, advertisements, spotlights, and other print media for our social media platforms, tradeshows, physical locations, and websites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Work with Directors and Operations Teams over various departments to develop communications and create marketing campaigns

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives

• Develop digital & print communications and brand campaigns, both external and internal

• Develop, write, and edit creative and technical content across different marketing mediums

• Develop print content & marketing materials that follow company brand guidelines for tradeshows, conventions, and other events

• Assist and collaborate with Digital Marketing Specialist on developing content for social media platforms and other company websites

• Retain and manage company’s media & advertising library

• Utilize and print campaigns to increase brand awareness

• Assist and collaborate with Digital Marketing Specialist on content for the company’s social media channels that follow the vendor’s policies as well as the company’s best practices

• Audit and manage brand consistency across all print platforms.

• Analyze and report on performance and efficiency data to Executive Team for implemented campaigns

• Stay current on media trends, marketing trends, & technology through Education and/or Experience

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, information science and/or minoring in digital media, studio/digital art, marketing, or a related field and a minimum of two years in the digital media and/or marketing field.

We also encourage candidates with an associate degree or accreditation from a college or technical school in similar fields with three years in the digital media and/or marketing field to apply.

Marketing Media Skills

• Advanced or expert proficiency with applications in the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, After Effects, etc.

• Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.

• Preferred but not required is knowledge of web programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Proficiency creating print media, including flyers, advertisements, brochures, etc.

• Knowledge of current media trends and ability to research upcoming trends.
