Remote PRINT & DIGITAL MAGAZINE Advertising Independent Executive Sales Representative

Bricker Publishing – Humboldt, IA

Pay: $35,000 - $75,000+ a year PLUS Bonuses & Profit Sharing

Job Type: Full-time

Shift and Schedule: 40 Hours, Monday to Friday

Work Location: Remote

Bricker Publishing is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Print/Digital Advertising Sales Representative. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in print and digital advertising sales, extensive knowledge of the Craft Beverage Industry and a proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales goals.

This position offers unlimited earning potential with pre-established accounts providing immediate commissions to help ease into the position. This position pays commission for both NEW and RENEWAL clients, pays RESIDUAL INCOME, SALES BONUSES, and participation in PROFIT SHARING.

1) “The Grapevine Magazine” focused on the Producers’ needs of Wineries & Vineyards; B2B; National, International

2) “Beverage Master – Craft Brew & Spirits Magazine” focused on the Producers’ needs of Craft Beer and Distilled Spirits; B2B; National, International

3) “IOWA Trails & Tales” focused on the promotion of Craft Beverage Producers and their Communities in the State of Iowa.

Independent Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • To obtain and secure new/previous advertisers from our lead database.
  • Call both potential and existing customers to explain how our advertising model works.
  • Conduct consultative sales processes to help customers determine the best package options to meet their business advertising goals.
  • Build and maintain solid working relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Follow up with customers to discover their return on investment (ROI) for purchased packages. Helping clients adjust their advertising strategies to improve their results.
  • Accurately complete proposals and contracts, including securing customers’ signatures to complete each sale.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure that all advertising materials are received within deadlines.
  • Provide continual customer service to address concerns and resolve complaints.

Independent Sales Representative Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven Print/Digital advertising sales experience.
  • High school diploma or College degree
  • Ability to travel and attend Tradeshows once or twice a year, at Company’s expense.
  • A team player who is a positive, motivated self-starter who can consistently work independently.
  • A natural closer with strong negotiation skills, especially in a consultative sales process.
  • Analytical problem-solver with a demonstrated talent for getting things done on time.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including the desire to make long-lasting professional relationships.

Compensation:

This is an Independent Contractor 100% commission sales position. Flexible Monday – Friday schedule. Our past Sales Representatives typically earned $35,000 - $75,000+ per year.

Supplemental pay types: Commission pay, Sales Bonuses & Profit Sharing
