SimVentions, consistently voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for anexperienced Systems Engineer to join our team and develop Candidate Change Packages to engineer new system capabilities and document design details and impacts in engineering documents.

Responsibilities: Conduct detailed, complex Systems Engineering activities associated with weapon system design. This includes, but is not limited to, holding TEMs, drafting whitepapers, developing and reviewing requirements, developing briefing material, and working as part of a large team to ensure quality Systems Engineering artifacts are developed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• If the candidate has a STEM degree, ten (10) years of professional Systems Engineering experience with a DoD major platform, weapon, command and control (C2), or fire control system program
• If no degree, the years of experience increases to 20

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Systems Engineering experience with Naval weapon systems

Education:A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline or 10 years of weapon systems experience

Clearance: An Interim Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
